How do I know my order was successful?
After placing your order, you will receive an order confirmation email. If you have an account, you can also log in to see your order status. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see the email.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel an order. We can only assist if your parcel has not yet been shipped.

What payment methods do you accept?

My payment was declined. What should I do?

Shipping & Delivery

When will my order ship?
Items marked “in stock” are dispatched from our warehouse within 1-2 business days. Sandals that need to be pre-ordered take 30-45 days to be produced and will ship once ready.

How much is shipping, and how long does delivery take?
Delivery costs and times vary by destination. For countries within the European Union, estimated delivery is 1-2 working days. For shipments outside the EU, delivery takes approximately 2 business days to reach local customs, after which time depends on clearance. Shipping charges are non-refundable.

For orders shipped outside the European Union, the customer is responsible for any additional taxes, customs, or import duties levied by the destination country.

How can I track my order?
Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number to monitor your package.

Can I change my shipping address or delivery instructions?
If you need to change your shipping address, please contact us immediately. We can only make changes before your order has been shipped.
We require a signature for delivery for security. If you choose to remove the signature requirement, the risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

Returns & Refunds

We hope you love your order. If not, you can return unworn, undamaged items in their original packaging with all tags attached within 30 days of receipt. Custom-made or pre-ordered products are final sale and cannot be returned. Please ensure items are returned in the same condition they were received.

How do I start a return?
To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Enter your order ID (including the # symbol) and the email used for the purchase.
  3. Select the item(s) you wish to return and choose a reason.
  4. Select your preferred return method.
    For secure and timely processing, we recommend using our designated return service.

Who pays for return shipping?
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (e.g., a faulty or incorrect item). The cost varies by region.

Can I return an item I bought from your website to a physical store?
No, purchases made online through modernssandals.com cannot be returned or exchanged in physical retail stores, and vice versa.

How long does a refund take?
Once we receive your return, our team will inspect the items, which may take 3-4 working days. After approval, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to post the refund to your account.

What if I receive a damaged or faulty item?
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately with your order number and photos of the product. We will assess the issue and guide you on how to proceed. Please do not send anything back before we confirm.
